This game started as a simple DIY matching game for a Breakfast Invitation and quickly evolved into our house’s most played game.
Dad goes, then I go. Then my preschooler. – It goes dad, me, son, dad, me, son on repeat.
Games with rules are important, and my preschooler would make sure we all fully understood how this shape matching activity was about to go down.

Shape Match Set-Up
First, use a box cutter to separate the egg carton. Next, add small slits to the top of each section.
Draw a shape on the craft stick, then draw a matching shape on the other craft stick.
This is just one of the 50 fine motor activities that we play on repeat!
