As a mom of three, I need simple activities that take less than five minutes to set up. I try to work with the same few items regarding activity supplies. That way, I can make my toddler or preschooler activity in a jiffy without rummaging around trying to find it all.
The simple list of learning supplies helps encourage fine motor development for future pencil grip and encourages sensory play to deepen and strengthen cognitive development.
