Here are three quick and easy setups to ease yours into the morning routine.

- Which loose parts do I have to add?

- Crafting rocks
- White chalk marker
- Black marker
First initial letter matching
Write the first initial on stones.
Write first initial on recycled cardboard.
Allow your preschoolers to sort the first initial of thier name. Picking up these small rocks is helping your preschooler use small hand movements just like they will when writing!
Rock letter sort
Continue to use rocks from the last activity. Write first initials on a large sheet of white paper. I added a third letter to hear what my three- year-old would do with it.
Build your name
Add rocks that represent each letter of your preschooler’s name. Write your preschooler’s name on the paper. Draw boxes below for your preschooler to build their name below.
