For us, sometimes it can be as simple as heading out for a hike or a couple of laps around the house. Other times, it needs to be something we can do in our home or outside.
This activity had my preschooler entertained for an extended period of time! He even asked to play more than once. – always parenting wins! We enjoyed this activity just as much as we enjoyed reenacting The Claw Machine.

How does this movement game help my preschooler?
For one, it is FUN! – Most important.
Gross motor activities improve the body’s large muscles to help running, jumping, and more full-body movements as your child grow.
Movement cubes also improve coordination and balance. Here, I added a lot of information about how balance can improve reading. You’ll also want to try this pumpkin balance!

Let’s Play!
First, throw the movement cube.
Next, complete the task the dice lands on.
Want to level up this movement activity?
Let’s now add some dice. Try completing the task the number of times the dice shows.
For example, try jumping five times or even find three red items outside.
