What better way to kick off the day than with a Christmas activity?! I love taking a simple holiday-themed activity or game and turning it into an easy Breakfast Invitation to inspire open-ended independent play.

Build independence with ornament decorating
Christmas ornaments are all so unique — making them so special and sentimental! This is why giving your child a blank canvas, or in this case, a blank ornament is the perfect way to inspire their freedom of creative independence.
You can help to develop your child’s fine motor skills by mixing up a basic coloring activity by simply offering festive colors, stickers, and iconic images of Christmas time as inspiration for art!
