Do you have a little Leprechaun? I found this one at the Dollar Store. If so, add him or a drawing to your activity!
Find a container for all the pom poms so they don’t roll around off the table. Contained is best. (wink, wink)
Next, add a simple sequence chart to the right of the jar. Here, I drew simple dots to represent the pom poms. My preschooler will use this as a guide for sequencing how to fill the jar using the pom poms in the container.
Invite your preschooler to begin filling the jar with the pom poms in the order of the chart’s colors.
Notes
I call these activities Breakfast Invitations and set them up the night before. When my child wakes up, they have something fun to do and play as I make my hot tea. It is a brilliant way to connect in the morning before a busy day.
