Inside: Find out what kinetic sand is and how to use it in your next sensory bin with your toddler and preschooler.
What is better than kinetic sand?
According to my two and four-year-old, the only thing better than kinetic sand alone would be kinetic sand and the Mighty Pups.
Together it makes the perfect sensory play combination, a real Paw Patrol adventure that my boys played with all week long.

What is kinetic sand?
Kinetic sand is basically connected sand that allows motion and movement.
A bonus for us is that it is effortless to clean up since it all clumps together back into one fluid shape.
The sand molds and sticks together without sticking on your child’s hand to make a great sensory bin for kinesthetic learners.

exploring new textures
imaginary play as the pups get lost in the sand
communication and storytelling
I am watching sensory play morph into imaginary play as the pups get trapped deep beneath the sand and wait on their rescue team.
