My Best Tip for New Moms?
Make the nursery your favorite room in the house.
You will be spending a lot of time in there and it will make you happy on your most sleepless nights. (one can hope, right?)
After two boys, you would think that one would have exhausted every creative “boy theme” juice in their brain. Somehow, that was not the case, and this is my most favorite room in the house.
The other good news is after three of the same sex, you can rearrange and repurpose a lot of cute items you received along the way!
This bedroom is fairly small, so I decided to keep the windows without curtains. Fingers crossed this new guy doesn’t mind the sunshine (or noise) as he sleeps.
Welcome to our small and minimal, yet cozy, a nursery for Baby Will.
The Rug.
For the nursery, we chose the 5X8. It is a beautiful rug and pulls the entire room together. The colors are bright and the carpet is plush. I cannot say enough positive comments about this company and will be using them again as I update the other rooms in our home.

The Garland.
I also ADORE this garland from Gracie and Marie on ETSY. The garland brought the perfect addition of color to the nursery. Also, the garland balls are all adjustable so you can move them throughout the strand how you see fit. Michelle is a kind, small business owner that will work with you to create a custom garland for your design needs.

The Inspiration for the Nursery.
Last summer I was on vacation with my best childhood girlfriends. We stumbled into a fabulous baby store in Malibu, and I laid my eyes on this handmade mobile. I feel in love. The only problem was that I didn’t have a baby. So I got pregnant. Just kidding. But don’t think for a second this mobile didn’t cross my mind when the pregnancy test came back positive. This mobile is handmade by BlaBlaKids.

Baby Boy’s Crib and Nursery Bedding.
This bedding was actually used for my first born son, but it goes perfect with the newly decorated nursery. You can find it at Land of Nod.

Baby Boy’s Nightstand.
This nightstand was a hand me down from my sister in laws parents. You know when they say, “they don’t make furniture like this anymore.”? Well this is true to this collection. The wood is so sturdy and heavy and I love the midcentury look.
