Tree: A Peek Through Picture Book is a seasonal book. Here is a follow-up activity that your child will love!
Learning about trees is super exciting for preschoolers. The book Tree: A Peek Through Picture Book and craft activity makes a great addition to outdoor learning.
Include art and a fantastic book about trees, and now you have a dynamic activity that motivates children to learn. And also helps them remember what was taught.

I like to keep the picture book and art crafts to retell the story in a book box. This is a way to help your preschooler retell a familiar story. It has supplies that can act as props for story retells.
We can use this story retelling box to discuss key details, ask and answer questions, identify characters, settings, and major events within a story.

Here’s what we did to make this Tree: A Peek Through Picture Book Activity
First, read Tree: A Peek-Through Picture Book several times.
Next, decorate several craft sticks to represent each season. Glue craft sticks to clothespins.
Finally, paint the top of the egg carton for the tree trunk.
When everything is dry, you can begin to retell the story and change the tree leaves to represent the different seasons.
